How To Get Involved

Are you:

A volunteer looking to help out with a survey
A student or university looking for related research projects
An employee with environmental leave to use
An interested company/organisation who have experienced NNIW and want to help
A community group that want to clear weeds from your area
A school interested in fitting NNIW education into your syllabus

We are looking for people from all areas and of all ages to help with:

Surveys, Publicity, Education, Event organisation, Funding, Research... Plus much more!

Events:

We are currently planning volunteering events on the following dates:

Saturday 26 June 2010 - Himalayan Balsam Clearing on River Frome

Location: Community Orchard Open Space, Church Road, Frampton Cotterell, South

Gloucestershire.

Time: 10am until 1pm

Saturday 17 July 2010 - Himalayan Balsam Clearing on River Frome

Location: Site of former boathouse, Eastville Park, Bristol.

Time: 10am until 1pm

Please wear long sleeved top and trousers which you wouldn't mind getting a little dirty and either walking boots, wellingtons or other sturdy footwear. You will be provided with gardening gloves. Please bring something to drink and sun cream if the weather is warm.
